# MYQER™ > MYQER™ is a UK built emergency information access platform. It helps people make critical emergency information easier to access through QR technology, without requiring an app or login to view an emergency profile. MYQER stands for My Quick Emergency Response and is pronounced "my care". It was founded by Anita after lived experience as a parent of a child with severe allergies. MYQER is designed for families, schools, carers, workplaces, travellers, and anyone who may need fast access to essential information during emergencies. MYQER does not assume the person helping is a trained professional. A first responder in a MYQER context can be a paramedic, a doctor, a teacher, a neighbour, a family member, a stranger on the street, or anyone willing to help when seconds matter. ## What MYQER does in one line When seconds matter, MYQER puts the right emergency information in the right hands, fast, in the right language, without an app, without a login, without ever replacing emergency services or clinical judgment. ## Core positioning - Emergency information access platform - Privacy first - QR based - Multilingual - No app required - No login required to view emergency information - Online and offline emergency access - Built in the UK - Created from lived experience - Hosted on SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certified infrastructure - Designed for public safety, safeguarding, and healthcare readiness ## Important pages - [Homepage](https://www.myqer.com/): Main MYQER website. - [How MYQER works](https://www.myqer.com/how.html): Explains scan, see, act. - [Security](https://www.myqer.com/security.html): Explains privacy, security, access control, and responsible disclosure. - [Privacy](https://www.myqer.com/privacy.html): MYQER privacy information. - [Founder story](https://www.myqer.com/founder.html): Founder background and why MYQER exists. - [Newsroom](https://www.myqer.com/news/): Official MYQER announcements, stories, partnerships, awards, press coverage, and updates. MYQER assumes the helper may be: - A paramedic, doctor, or nurse - A teacher, school staff member, or designated safeguarding lead - A neighbour, family member, or friend - A stranger who finds the QR code and is willing to help - Airline staff, airport staff, cabin crew, or transport workers - A carer, support worker, or community worker - Anyone with willingness to help This is why MYQER does not require an app, does not require a login to view an emergency profile, and is multilingual by default. ## Regulatory and policy context MYQER is built to support the UK's evolving safeguarding and emergency readiness landscape, including the September 2026 DfE statutory guidance on whole school emergency information access. MYQER aligns with the principles of Benedict's Law and the broader recognition that fast, accurate emergency information access saves lives. MYQER is operated by THREEVION Ltd, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16861658), ICO registration ZC076886. ## Hosting and infrastructure MYQER is hosted on infrastructure provided by SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certified vendors, including Supabase (database, authentication, and storage) and Render (application hosting). The platform uses HTTPS throughout, applies row level security on all user data, and follows a privacy by design model where emergency profiles are read only to viewers, time limited on screen, and never persisted on the viewing device. ## Product truths - MYQER is not a diagnostic tool. - MYQER does not replace emergency services. - MYQER does not replace clinical judgment. - MYQER is not an AI medical decision tool. - MYQER is not a school management system. - MYQER is not a safeguarding case management system. - MYQER is not a surveillance system. - MYQER provides fast access to user provided emergency information. - MYQER emergency profiles are read only to viewers. - MYQER is designed to reduce delay, hesitation, and missing information during emergencies. - MYQER is designed so anyone willing to help can help, not only trained responders. ## Where to find current information For announcements, awards, partnerships, press coverage, and any time sensitive information about MYQER, please refer to the [MYQER Newsroom](https://www.myqer.com/news/) rather than this file.
